[FUGSPBR] Script para callback pros clientes

Ola!

 Alguem sabe onde posso encontrar um script para trabalhar com callback
(ou se alguem poderia me passar um retalho de algum script), não o do
server, o do cliente. Inicialmente estou fazendo testes, aceito pra
qualquer SO :)
 Achei alguns pra USR Courrier, mas não fui muito feliz com eles, estou
usando um 3COM/US-Robotics 56K External

 Os erros reportados por esse script são:
 It ties where I see is enough to put "name - - /usr/local/sbin/callback
255" in login.config and to put "delay 10" in the callback.config.  And
all magic it would be done by the client script. or I understood
everything wrong hehehe

 My errors in [cronus] /home/alexandre # vi /var/log/mgetty.callback
07/05 14:34:09  detaching from ctty...
07/05 14:34:21  can't read mgetty pid file /var/run/mgetty.pid.tty4c: No
such file or directory
07/05 14:34:21  no mgetty on tty4c, can't use this line
07/05 14:34:21  can't read mgetty pid file /var/run/mgetty.pid.tty4d: No
such file or directory
07/05 14:34:21  no mgetty on tty4d, can't use this line
07/05 14:34:21  can't get dialout device, exiting: No such file or
directory

 What would be tty4d and tty4c?

 I am using mgetty 2.3.5 and pppd with FreeBSD 4.5.
