Estou com um problema no floppy em um Athlon 2500 XP.
A placa mãe é MSI com o chipset Via KT600. O floppy funciona
no Linux, mas não no FreeBSD 5.2.1 e 5.2. O sistema dá as
seguintes mensagens:

Eu sei, exagerei nas informações colocando toda a
saída do dmesg. Mas aparece duas vezes a seguinte mensagem:
fdc0: cmd 3 failed at out byte 1 of 3
E depois uma vez a seguinte mensagem:
fdc0: cannot reserve I/O port range (6 ports)
Alguém já passou por isto? Alguma dica? Alguém sabe
o que é?
Abraços,
João Rocha.
PS: Basicamente só falta isto e a instalação do OpenOffice
para que a máquina do meu irmão fique pronta.
