[FUG-BR] Login FTP via browser

Estou tendo problemas em acessar sites FTP via browser
(IE, Firefox) que exigem login/senha. Não estou
recebendo um prompt para digitar o login/senha, já
surge a mensagem do squid 2.5 stable 14:

An FTP authentication failure occurred while trying to
retrieve the URL: ftp://x.x.x/ 

Squid sent the following FTP command: 

USER anonymous
and then received this reply 
This is a private system - No anonymous login
